Associations or Cantofbury have decided to' associa» themselves with the Agricultural Relief ,of Allies Committee of the Royal Agricultural Society of England,- which.has'been formed, under the- patronage of|hd King, to assist agriculturalists of Allied countries which have been invaded and devastated by German armies. It has been decided to forward the' following remit to the annual Dominion Conference, to be held shortly at Wellington:— "That the A. and P. Associations of {hit Dominion be asked to -start and to vigorously promote a movement for «01-> lecting funds for the settlement on lands of ruined Belgian farmers, and that the Government be asked to subsidise any moneys collected £ for £." An appeal has also been issued .by circular to farmers and pastoralist' of ' Canterbury.
