SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Te Kuiti, Yesterday. An elderly single man, named John Scott, a resident of Mangapehi, died suddenly on Saturday evening when returning t'. Te Kuiti from the racecourse, |At the inquest to-day a verdict was returned of death from natural causes. ACCIDENT NEAR TAUIiANGA. Tauranga, Yesterday. While driving to the Ohauiti Estate, six miles from town, on Saturday, a .trap, containing Mrs. W.ilson and Miss Barnett (daughter of Mr. Maughan Barnett, the Auckland City organist), overturned. Mrs. uilsou was uninjured, but Miss Barnett suffered a fracture of the base of the skull, and now lies in a semi-consoious condition in the Tauranga Hospital.
