THE MAHENO'S NEW STAFF. After the return of No. 1 Hospital Ship (the Maheno) at the end of this month, the ver-.aei will be racomwisjioned Kiiil dispiitciiod again to the war area. A new co'mmisisoned staff has been appointed, as follows: Officer Commanding. Lieutenant-Colonel J. S. Elliott. M.D., 8.5., Edin, N.Z.M.C. Staff. Major H. F. Herr.au, M.R.C.S., Eng., L.Ii.C.P., London N.Z.M.C. Major (temporary) J. McNaughton Christie, M.D., Mas., F.R.C.S., Edin. Captain H. M. Wilson, 8.5., Cantab., N.Z.M.C. Captain A. Clark, F.R.C.S., Edin., N.Z.M.C. Captain W. J. Barclay, M.D., F.R.C.S., D.P.H.. Edin. Captain F. A. Beet, M.8., 8.5., New Zealand. Adjutant and quartermaster, Captain Maurice Denniston, N.Z. Garrison Artillery Reserve. Lieutenant-Oolonel Elliott has been principal medical officer of the Wellington Military District since April last. Captain Barclay is superintendent of the Wellington Hospital. Major Bernau has a practice in Napier, Major Christie a practice in Wellington, Captain Wilson a practice in Hastings, and Captain Bett a practice in Nelson. Captain Clark is radiologist at the Auckland Hospital.
