ON THE SEA.
BRITISH CRUISER ASHORE. THE CREW SAKE. London, Oct. 28. The cruiser Argyll went aground on the east coast of Scotland, owing to bad weather, and it is feared that she may become a total wreck. All the crew were rescued.
(The Argyll is a cruiser of 11,000 ton 3, completed in 1905, and had a speed of 22y 2 knots. She carried four 7.5 in. guns, six fiin., two twenty 3-pounderg, two maxims, and two submerged torpedo tubes. Her crew totalled 650.)
STRAXDTXG CAUSED BY HAD WEATHER. Received Oct. 29, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 28. Bad weather caused the Argyll's grounding on the east coast of Scotland.
A PLAYTHING
KRUPPS' YACHT CONDEMNED. London, Oct. '3B. The Prize Court has condemned Krupp's yacht Oermania, which cost forty-five thousand sterling, despite defendants' counsel's plea that the Court should regard it as a plaything, and it was against the comity of nations to seize of the toys of private individuals.
