The number of recruits allotted to Normanby in connection with the Tenth Reinforcements, to go into camp November 10, is ten. This number is required at once. Manaia and Okaiawa are asked to secure twenty more recruits by the same date. Among those who intend offering their services for the expeditionary force is the popular schoolmaster of' Okaiawa, Mr. V Innes. If accepted for service, Mr. Innes will go into camp after the New Year. Mr. Hornsby, M.P., and Mr. D. McLaren, of Wellington, visited the Waihi Cemetery on Tuesday, and inspected the Maori redoubt.
