A MINISTERIAL UTTERANCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. '■ Napier, Monday. The Hon. W. Eraser, Minister for Public Works, was waited upon to-day by deputation from the Chamber of Commerce, and urged to push on tho construction of the Napier-Gisborno railway from the Napier end. The Minister assured tho deputation that well before the Harbor Board had constructed the embankment the line would be Well forward. It wag liis desire to sec the lino energeticaly pushed on, and whatever ho undertook to do would be carried out.
