The following«notions, among others, were adopted:—That the executive be requested to formulate a scheme whereby earnest churchmen in isolated districts can be admitted as members of the ' society and affiliated to one or other of its branches; that Councils be warned to take*care not to make the membership of the Society too expensive, as small branches cannot afford to contribute to every object for which they may be asked. The principles of the ISible-in-Schools League were endorsed, aftu' lengthy discussion.
