DEATH OF HUDDERSFIELD LANDLORD. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 16, 8 p.m. London, April 16. Obituary: Sir John Ramsdcn, sole landlord of the town of Huddersfield. He made over the estate to his son four years ago. His death recalls the seven years' legal war between him and his tenants, eventually leading to legislation in 1867 defining the relations of landlord and tenant.
