A PRISONER'S SUICIDE. i ~ ' Per Press Association. I ' Auckland, Thursdav. Austin Vincent Carroll, aged thirty years, who was remanded on a charge of indecent assault on a little girl, committed suicide in his cell at the Mount Eden Gaol last night. He was found dead at seven this morning. He had apparently used a -towel which he used as a belt.
