On Monday the Ifith hist the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited held a clearing sale on account of Mr. W. 11. Fenwick, of Tariki. There was a large attendance of the public, and bidding was very keen on everything offered, but several buyers who were present were unable to operate largely on account of shortage of feed. All the machinery was in first class order, and the stock were in exceptionally good condition, and consequently sold very readily. We might say that this sale has bi»en the best held so far this season for this class of stock.
