WIFE SHOOTS HER HUSBAND
A LIGHT -SENTENCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. BeTlin, May 11. The trial .of Mrs. Blume (wife of a young educationalist, who was supposed to have been accidentally -shot in iiher presence) on a charge of murdering her husband, has been concluded at Posen. The accused confessed that she shot her husband owing to her failure to dissuade him from taking divorce proceedings. She was found guilty of shooting her husband under extenuating circumstances and sentenced to four years' imprisonment. HOSTILE DEMONSTRATION. Received 12, 10:33 p.m. Berlin, May 12. Mrs. Blume pleaded that she shot her husband in a moment of temporary irresponsibility, wisliing to regain possession .of an incriminating letter. There was a riotous demonstration outside the Court, the people disapproving of the lightness of the sentence.
