The Daily Chronicle publishes an interview with an English lady who was working with the Red Crescent Mission at Sofia. She gives a terrible account of the treatment of the Turkish sick and wounded, who were left without food, fire, -water or shelter, and fed themselves by gnawing v bark. Many died before the American missionaries provided them -with a Tittle soup. She witnessed the horrible spectacle of starving men trampling on .one -another to secure a share.
