MOA SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION.

I QUARTERLY MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent). The quarterly meeting of the above was held in the Inglewood school on Friday evening last. Delegates representing Inglewood, Waiongona, Lincoln, Dudley. Kaimata and Durham committees were present. The president (Mr. Thomson) outlined the result of the amalgamated picnic and referred to the visit of the battleship to New Plymouth, and said that nothing definite had as yet been obtained with reference to train arrangement. Mr. Hood (secretary) read the balancesheet in connection with the big picnic, showing a surplus of ,C lOs 2d. It was decided to grant ;C2 to the Inglewood School Committee, leaving the balance to the working account of the Association. Messrs Okey and Tline, M.P.'s, are to receive a vote of thanks for (he trouble taken in obtaining good facilities in connection with the trains, etc. It was decided to hold a special meeting in a fortnight's time (May 2) to discuss arrangement- ve children's visit to the battleship, as it is hoped by that time definite information will be forthcoming from the Railway Department. School committees contiguous to Inglewood will do well to send a delegate to this meeting.
