ENTERTAINMENTS.
EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. A new selection of pictures will be shown at the matinee this afternoon aiul again to-night. A glance at the advertisement will be sufficient to convince picture lovers of a decided treat in store for this evening. The Box Plan is at the Empire Sweets Depot, where all seats must be reserved, and the management announce that children will not be admitted to the Dress Circle ob Saturdays except at full price. The matinee is specially run to cater for the children, and at this entertainment the children are admitted for the small sum of threepense, when the same programme is screened as at the night session. THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. The very fine historical picture "The Retreat from Moscow" will be shown at the matinee t'his afternoon and again for the last time at the evening session. Parents and guardians will note that the matinee price for children is threepence, and the programme screened is exactly the same as at the night performance. In . view of the special price for this performance, the management will not admit t children for half price at the evening entertainment.
