LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, May 14. Nancy Parbury, of Sydney, defeated Mass Harvey, ex-champion of Canada, in the first round of the ladies' golf championship.
The following are -the results of the second round for the Weston Cup, played under the auspices of the New Plymouth Golf Club. ' Miss Brewster beat Miss Percy Smith, 2 up and 1. s Mrs. Whetter heat Miss Glasgow, 5 up and 4. Miss Stephenson beat Miss Hall, 4 up and 3. Miss Read beat Misa Blundell, 3 up I and 2. Mrs. Johns beat Mrs. Paton, 4 un and 3. ' v \ Miss McKellar beat Mrs. Glasgow l] up. Miss "Ryan beat Mrs. Hutton, 2 up. The lie on tlio first round between I Miss Bewley and Mrs. R. A. Gray was I played off, Miss Bewley winning 3 up I and 2.
