Mr. Lockwood (Unionist member for Epping) raised a question in the House of Commons, and Mr. Pointer apologised and withdrew his statement. THE INSURANCE BILL. STATEMENT BY THE CHANCELLOR. Received 1, 10 p.m. London, August 1. Mr. Lloyd-GeoTge, in the House of Commons, said his amendments to the Insurance Bill would remove the fears that hospitals would be affected financially. Large numbers of poor now dependent on hospitals would fome under the insurance fund, while further relief would be afforded by an extension of sanatoria.
