CRICKET
THE NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At the quarterly meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Comn'il to-night, the Hon. E. C. J. Stevens brought forward a proposal that the management committee be requested to consider the possibility of establishing an annual match with New South Wales and Victoria, or •ne of them. The delegates present heartily supported the proposal, which was carried unanimously.
