The Conservatives have decided to oppose the reciprocity measure to the bitter end, and to maintain obstructive tactics in Parliament. It is now considered improbable that Sir Wilfrid Laurier will be able to go to London, except by amending the Parliamentary mles of order so as to apply to the gag. The Liberals cannot hope to carry the Reciprocity Bill before June or July.
