The New Zealand Committee for the Festival of Empire games has cabled to the Australasian Council that it is anxious to send Harding and Champion, and asking if it has been decided to limit the representation to one man for each event. The reply will indicate that representation is limited to one man, but New Zcahnd can send Harding and Champion if it likes, the intention being to hold trials in London, say a week before the contests, the final choice being made from those then proving themselves the best men.
