SEARCHING FOR HUSBAND'S BODY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Rome, June 15. Divers are searching Lake Oomo for the body of Charlton Porter, who is now believed to have either comniitted suicide or to have been murdered.

A few days ago it was reported that the Charlton Porter myster had caused a sensation throughout Italy. At New York last August, Mrs. Charlton Porter, who is a fascinating woman of great beauty, Shot and wounded her lawyer in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Her victim refused to prosecute. She is seventeen years older than Cha,rlton Porter, who is a youth, weakly and consumptive, and incapable of murder. His letters to his wife suggest extreme jealousy. His letters to Ispalatoft" incriminate the arrested Russian. The crime has caused a sensation in America. Ispalatoft', a Russian, was arrested at iComo, in Italy, on suspicion of murdering Mrs. Crittenden Castle, who is an American dramatic artiste. A box containing the body was found in Lake Como. She is supposed to have been put into the box in a stunned condition, and to have subsequently died from asphyxia.
