He expressed the fear that the revenue would 'be curtailed if the Federal Parliament carried out its intention to impose the land taxation as outlined in the legislation forecasted. The railway proposals include the duplication of Main Trunk lines, building of cross country connections between districts served with existing lines. A Workers' Compensation Bill is also promised. WANT OF CONFIDENCE'. Received June 15, 12.5 a.m. Sydney, June 14. The Legislative Council adopted the Address-in-Reply. The Assembly is discussing the Address. A late sitting is promised. It is expected that Mr. McGowan will move a want of confidence motion in general terms before the House adjourns.
