Per Press Association. . . Dunedin, Last Night. Inquiries made locally go to show that tlio lost ami Telegraph proposals regarding classification have given general satisfaction. The increase in the rates °t pay is regit ilea as very substantial, and the provision for the payment of an extra £lO per annum to married men or to widowers with children and drawjiig £l5O is regarded as remarkably thoughtful, as is also the proposal that "!> ?'»<*!• 22 years of age or over shall receive less than £IOO a year.
