A MAORI COMMITTED FOE TRIAL. JSBIJ IWHSS ASSOCIATION.. Gisiiohnk, December 20. The inquest was continued at Port Awanui to-day concerning I lie death of an infant found in tlie Waiapu river. A charge of child murder was then proceeded will., evidence being given connecting accused with the ownership of the skirt around the child, and the kit in which the body vres found, also medical and other evidence supporting the nllfgaliou that she was the mother.
