NEW ZEALAND ATHLETIC UNION.
In reference to the formation of the New Zealand Athletic Union, Mr J. Clark of New Plymouth, the delegate of the Taranaki Athletic and Caledonian Association, writes: For this purpose it is proposed to divide the colony into territorial centres, each centre to have representation according to the number of Clubs affiliated to such centres; the local centre to govern its own affairs, and the Athletic Union to act as a niodium for recording disqualifications, records, otc, and not in any way to interfere with the government or control of local centres. The next meeting of delegates is to he held in Christehurch in November, IOOIi. Mr J. Gilfeddcr, of Southland, was appointed secretary until headquarters are definitely fixed.
