FREIGHT ON FROZEN MEAT.
PRESENT RATES UNREMUNERATIVE. > London, December 23. At a meoting of shareholders in the Houldor Shipping Lino, Mr Gayford, of Gayford and Company, produce merchants, said the rates for carrying refrigerated produce were absolutely unremuncrative, and the position was not likely to improvo until the insulated tonnage available, and the quantity of meat to be carried, more closely approached each other.
