(Per Press Association.) BOY FALLS OUT OF WINDOW. SYDNEY, Jan. 4. The cyclist Ellegard's little son was killed through falling from a window. A CANOE FATALITYi CXI'KISTCHURCH, Jan. 4. A lad named Jnmes Herbert, sixteen years of age, was drowned at Heathcoto. He was out on tile river with another lad in a smalt canvas canoe. A heavy wind was blowing, and a wave struck her and she sank. The other ijjpy swam ashore. Deceased could not swim. CHRISTCHURCII, Jan. 5. Wm< Jas. Booth, a farmer at Sefton was killed through his horse bolting. He was carting hay, and took the bit out of the horse's mouth to feed the animal, wlieu the horse was startled through the blinkers dropping. Mr Booth was knocked down, and the dray passed over his head. He leaves a widow and family. . DUNEDIN, Jan. 5. The body of George Stephens, a yachtsman, was washed overboard from the Anpnyma last month, and loufid at the Heads 'this morning. TAIIIAPEi J an. 5. A man, T.
