(Per Press Association.) THAMES, Jan. 2. Mary Ann Bottomore, aged 57, was found in a dying condition in the street last night. Shi: was removed to the police station, a nd expired from heart failure. The latter admonished the man and told tho ,woman she could lay a charge against her husiband if she Hesired. On hearing; this Turnbull rushed off to another room, and the constable following was just in time to stop Ms cutting lri ß throat with a, knife. The man was removed to the hospital, and it is believed tho wound he inflicted -is not likely to prove fatal.
