Mr Kinsella's many friends nmongst the dairymen of Taranaki .Willi be so'rry to learn that while in Now! Plymouth' that gentleman smV Cored -a relapse of tho entente fever contracted in South Africa, and was laid up for two days by a malarial shaking fit. It was with great difficulty that Mr Kinsella got through the itest of judging the dairv exhibits on Friday Inst.- Mr iCinstlla, who lias now recovered his • usual health, leaves to-day for Stratford, afterwards going on to Wanganuj, on His way to Wellington'. From tho Patea Press we learn that by the last 'Frisco mail Mr Rutherford, of Wavcrley, received a letter from hisi brother. Professor Rutherford, in which ho stated he had accepted an invitation from the Yale University to deliver the Tillerman lectures. These consist of thirteen lectures which' are subsequently published in book form. A salary of 2500 dollars is attached to tho position.
