The invasion of crowds into Dean Cemetery has compelled the authorities to insi-t that Societies placing wreaths on Macdonald's grave shaU provide more police protection. Tbe New Zealand Gaelic, and miny other Societies have acquiesced in the proposal made at a meeting held at Dingwsll, when it wis agreed that local committees should co-operate with other bodies in erecting a National memorial at Dingwall.
