FOOTBALL.

A meeting of the Siar Juniors was held *t the Guards' Club on Wednesday, whan therj was a fair attendance. Mr W.Rock was elded cap*>«in of the first jttniorc, and M.r V. George vicecaptain. The cipt.iiti, vice-captain, and Mr J. Elliott were appointed a selection committee. It was decided to request all junior players to play in the proper colours of the ciub - all black, with gold star. Tne members of all teams aro to be requested to insure against accident before each match. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to Mr Taunton for the iw of ti>e rooms, and with the usual compliment to the chair.
