MUSICAL EVENINGS.
Musical people •will bo glad to learn that Messrn J. 0. Moray Hnd J. McKinnon Bain, in conjunction with she Gnrrisro Bund, h-iv.i arranged for a seriefs of musical evenings during the coming winter. It is intended that other centos of population shall entr* iu the pleasure of these evenings as wt-11 as New Plymouth, and «start will be made at Waitara on Thursday 24th ins". Arrangements are being made with the proprietors of the several 'buses tit run out »"d back at a*>)e rates, and »it.s :h.i halp of the band a capital programme will b« given. Mr Morey wax at Waitara on Wednesday, and found that the idea was ex■iwdingly favourable round there. In New Plymouth the will bs held in the Drill Hall, which will be .specially fitted up for the pupose, and will, we feal sur», be highly appreciated. In such cipable bands as Messrs Morey and McKinnon Bain, there is no doubt but that the public will receive a treat that will be keenly appreciated.
