X sales, b buyers, b sellers. Business has bean qniet in the investment share market this week and there are no material change*. Inquiry for Bank of New Zealand continues, bnt seller* will sot quote lower than 635. Prices are firm all roand.

Auckland mining is very dull. Otgo dredging returns continue to improve and some Olutha River Companies have seen a considerable advance. Many dredges are still waiting for a further fall in the Holyneux which is not falling as rapidly as desired.

The Vest Coast returns continue satisfactory and Callagban's Creek, which commenced dredging a week ago and in which a good many shares are held locally, promises to mike a very successful start.
