SCHOOL COMMISSIONERS.

The Commissioners held a special meeting on Friday last. Prevtnt— Messrs Cock (chairman), Wade, F>u.H, and AUsworth.

Mr Claude Weston notified having purchased Mr Burnett's mortgage over Mr T. Mills' lense of section 150, Hua district, possession of which he intended to take. Mr Weston is to be supplied with a copy of the ranger's report on this section in order that the Board's requirements may be promptly carried out,

The solioitor was instructed to have section 822 and parts 817 aud 821, New Plymouth, brought under the provisions of the land Transfer Ac*. The list of reserves and upsets was approved and adopted, and the leases will bo submi'ted.

After transacting rou'ine businoes the Board adjourned
