The Governor and Countess of Ranfurly aod suite, with the Premier and Sir Joseph Ward were present. The parade of prize winners was the feature of the day, and some magnificent animals were Isd into the show ring. The local horses took most of the prizes in the draught section, but Canterbury horses had a say in hackney classes. Mr R. Gown, of East Taieri, exhibited the champion draught entire, and Mr R. Charters, Mosgiel, the champion mare. The weather was perfect.
