FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedin, November 19. The anou il meetiog of the Mosgiel Woollen Company was held to-day, Mr C. B. Oargill presiding. The dividend piyable this year is 6 per o< nt. Tois is only the second year tb.it the dividend hssbe?n below 8 per cent. The chairman, after paying a tribute to the late Mr A. J. Burns, founder of the industry at Mosgiel, Baid the cbitf cau'e of the diminished profit, had been the dislocation of the wool market, which rendered it necessary to further write down \alues, particularly of haJf-hr*d varieties of wool. The volume of business bad be in well miintained during the year, and oompired favourably with preceding years. A fair profit was also shown upra all classes of manufacture. He might say the re suit in some respects was more aatis factory than it had been for some time. In every branch they had shown a v>ry fair margin, of .profit. Messrs J. R. Sinclair and W. Hislop were re-aleotel droolers.
