Received 14, 1.17 a.m. Melbourne, September 13 The incoming and outgo ; ng Boxhill trains collided this afternoon at Jolimont, near the scene of a great collision of twenty years ago. The promptitude of the drivers of both trains in pulling up prevented an appalling di«BS er. The trains were crowded, and a great many persons are suffering from minor irjuriis snd shock, but i"ivi seriously. The driver of the train which left Princes Bridge declares tbe line wa.sigoalled clear, but the signalman , denies this. One carriage was derailed.
