Mr Sfldc'on states that tte New Zealand Parliamc nt will meet to transac 1 ; business on Friday, 28th June. The following are the awards for the designs for the invitation cards for the official receptions of the Duke and Ducheso of Cornwall in the four centres: —First prize, fifteen guineas, W. H, Young, Star Office, Auckland ; second, five guinws, F. W. Seirs, Wellington; third, fivo guinea o , R. Hawridge, Dunedin. The following receive prizes of two guinea*, A. D. Willis, Wanganui; R. Mclotyre, Dunedin; W. Gulliver, Auckland; 0. Kitson, Ohristchurcb. The contract to supply one hundred and twenty thousand bronze medals for distribution among the school children in commemoration of the Royal visit j has been given by the Government to G. T. White, of Wellii.gtoa.
