An overwhelming force surrounded a patrol of Marshall's Horse at Zuurberg mountains, killing the officer and wounding five of the men. The rest surrendered, and ware disarmed and released. General French, east of Viyhcid, drove the Boc-rs from snveml positions, killing four and wounding several. BOERS DERAIL A TRAIN. NO CASUALTIES. Received 2, 0.12 p.m. London, April 1. Miloer had been instructed to inform the Swazi Queen that the Swazis should remain quiescent, and after tbe war their desire for British protection would be remembered. Wslukgtov, April 2. The Seventh Contingent returned from Trentham to Newtown Fark today being much benefited in health and work.
