THE MAORI STUDENTS CONFERENCE.
(PBE PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wanganui, December 7. The Teaute College Students Association Conference opened this morning, the delegates being welcomed by the local natives. The formal business of tho Conference commenced in the afternoon, when the Presidential address was delivered by. Archdeacon Williams in which strong reference was made to I the question of introducing Bible teacbiuginto Muorischools. Tnn travelling secretary, Mr Ngata, introduced the subject of the Maorilegislatiouof the session just closed, and expounded for two hours on the Maori Council's Act, Che members proceed for an up-river trip t his afternoon. On Sunday the members will occupy various loctl pulpits.
