[From Our Own Correspondent.] In spite of rumours to the contrary, th e Hon. Mr. Hall-Jones kept his word and drove out to Whangamomona. He was accompanied by Messrs. Coutts and James, Who no doubt took the opportunity of impressing on his mind the claim the district had on the Government.
