THE OPAKU RESERVE.
So much has been said and written in connection with tha Opaku Preserve Wwt eliwld aob bo necessary ty do
more than remind our readers of the public meeting to be held to-night to support the educational authorities in their protest against any diversion of its revenues to the purposes of a dairy or technical school. It is quite clear that only the most decided stand and pronounced expression of opinion will save this endowment for the purpose for which it was originally set apart. We hope, therefore, that the meeting to be held this (Wednesday) evening will be largely attended and decided in its support of the action already taken by the Educational Delegates at New Plymouth, and the public meeting held at Hawera last week. We notice that a public meeting has been called at Stratford on the same subject.
