Tuesday, October 2, (Before His Honour Mr. Justioe Conolly.) ALLEGED BREAKING AND SINTERING. Axel Holmes, chirged with breaking and entering at Patea, and in whose case two juries had failed to agree, was brought up on remand. His Honour said it appeared impossible to get a third jury to try this case, and, after giving the matter very I careful consideration, he had decided to adjourn the case to the next sitting of the Court. In reply to Mr. Weston, His Honour fixed b til at two sureties at £25 each. Mr. Wes'on urged a reduction of the amount on the ground that it was difficult to procure bail, but v His Honour declined to reduce the amount.
