POLLARD'S OPERA COMPANY.
Playgoers will be delighted to learn that this popular combination is about to visit us once more. Owing to alterations in steamer sailings the season i here is limited to one night, Friday next, September 21st. On that occasion "The Pollard's" will desert the realms of comic opera and musical comedy, and will produce for the first time here Wallace's immortal opera " Maritana." The revival of such an old favourite as this should be welcome to lovers of the better class of opera. The cast will be exceptionally strong, and will serve to introduce a new soprano, with a Melbourne reputation, in the person of Miss Mario Mueller, who will be seen in the name part. The box plan will be opened this morning at Gilmour's, when there is certain to be a rush for seats.
