|PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.J (Received 18, 9.40 a.m.) Sydney, August 18. Enquiry into the operation of the Metropolitan Chanties Association, which was formed three years ago to regulate the distribution of relief, shows that it has received over LIOOO in aid. It had only collected 187 privately, and expended L3O in relief, the balance going in salaiies and expense.
