The Hon. W. 0: Walker moved an amendment, the effect of which would lie (o limit imprisonment for debt to eases in which debts were incurred by fraud.—The amendment was agreed to by I- votes to 11. The Clause, as passed, was received as follows:—"Except in eases which, by Section 8 of the principal Act, are declared to lie excepted from the operation of that section, and except also in eases where a debt has been incurred by fraud, unorder of committal to prison for default in payment of a judgment debt or of any instalment thereof shall hereafter be made under the principal Act against a judgment debtor." The third reading was fixed for 'Tuesday,
