ADVANCE OF GENERAL BCLLEB.
DE WET BEING PRESSED BY LORD KITCHENER. . , Received 17, 12.20 p.m. London, August 16. General Buller is twenty miles south of Wonderfontein. His advance is practically unopposed. Eight hundred Boers, with six guns, are at Lake Ohrissie. The recent surrender at Standerton has crushed the opposition in southeastern Transvaal. General Buller is in touch with General French's scout*. Commandant Oilmen's near Heilbron.
Beuter's correspondent states that Commandant De Wet is beyond Yentersdorp,' trying to join Commandant De la Boy at Bustenburg. General Eitohener is pressing De Wet hard.
