[ [PER PRESS ASSOGIATION.I (Received 12, 6.40 p.m.) London, August 11. ■ Major Lothaire, manager of the Congo Free State Trading Company, who won notoriety some time ago in connection with the murder of a British trader named Stocks, has been cashiered for ill-treating natives. Several members of the Company were murdered by native?, the result, it was alleged, of terrible atrocities practised by Lothaire and other officials. The Belgian Press took the matter up and demanded an enquiry into the charges. Paris, August 11.
