There were sold for Home consumption 73,000, for the Continent 52,000, and for America 2,000; carried forward, 159,000. There was strong continental competition for merinos, and prices for crossbreds compared with May. Best greasy merinos and coarse crossbreds were unchanged. Other merinos and fine crossbreds declined 5 per cent. The first series for 1901 open on 15th January,
