SCOBIE MACKENZIE DECLINES TO STAND. [PIB PBBSS ASSOCIATION.] DuNKDUt, July 3. Mr. Scobie Mackenzie has been urged from all parts of Waihemoto contest the seat, and Mr. Thomas Mackenzie and Mr. W. Burnett, of Hawkdon, (who desires to come out as an Opposition candidate), bare both offered to stand aside. Mr. Scobie Mackenzie has declined, as his desire is to permanently sever his connection with politics.
