ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[PBIt PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Carterton, May 25. Matthew Cave, 81, an old resident, shot himself early this morning with a double-barrelled pistol. Deceased had been complaining of ill-health for some time past, and was practically an invalid. Auckland, May 25. James Bronstra, in connection with whose injuries Constable Finnerty is under arrest, died at the Hospital last night.
